The Operation Christmas Child boxes were dedicated during the November 13 morning service. 154 boxes were packed! These boxes will share the story and love of Jesus all over the world! Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way!!  We're in the last month before we send off the packed shoeboxes! Extras in the back of the church will be available until October 23 and will then be collected and added to existing, or new boxes. Packed boxes can be brought to the church beginning October 30. The boxes will be dedicated on November 13.  Forty-four children learned about Jesus' love for them and then shared that love with other children when they made and collected items for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes at VBS - Christmas in July. Fifty boxes were packed and additional donated supplies are available for others to use when they pack their boxes. There were 35 helpers each night....thank you to all the volunteers who gave their time to make this program a success! Pray for the seeds that were planted in those young lives! Let's start collecting for our shoeboxes.....and begin praying for the children who will receive them!  Over 80 shoeboxes were dedicated during the morning service today. Thank you to all who participated! Update: 114 boxes were filled this year!! Pray for the Relay workers and for the children who will receive these boxes.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Season is here! School days are here and fall is just around the corner so it's time to think Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes again! The boxes are here (available in the back narthex). The "How to Pack a Shoe Box" brochures and labels are on the way and school supplies are on sale! So let's start to think about filling some boxes for children around the world who need hope more than ever, and shoeboxes open the door to their greatest need - Jesus as their Savior!
