Nineteen ladies and girls met at Nancy's home for the Ladies Fall Retreat. After a potluck brunch, Angela led a study on "Becoming a More Generous Person" with our time, abilities, gifts, talents, encouragement, possessions and money. The day concluded with a craft. Thank you Marlene & Angela for organizing the event and to Nancy for graciously hosting the activities! Several ladies attended the Brown City Camp Women's Rally on August 2 and enjoyed a potluck luncheon afterwards.
About 50 ladies and girls gathered together for a special brunch this morning. After a delicious meal prepared by Cindy and Melissa, the group enjoyed the Hossler family sharing in word and song. Thank you to everyone who helped in so many ways to make this event a success! Many projects are closer to being finished after the first Women's Ministry UFO (Unfinished Objects) Day at LMC. There was sewing, painting, needlepoint, scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting, jewelry making, photo sorting, quilting....it was a very productive day! It was also a day filled with great conversation, idea sharing and fellowship. Thank you to Diane and Melissa for sharing your stories and to Renee and Marilyn for organizing the event. The March Women's Ministry Event will be a Bible study. Watch for more details! Thank you Marilyn for organizing a very enjoyable evening for the Women's Ministry at Prayers & Painting with Marilyn! Everyone had fun tapping into their creativity!
